Summary: After everything that had happened to her in London Molly'd had enough. When she got the opportunity to leave London for a new job and a new life in California she took it and didn't really look back. Most of the time. Except she wasn't really living all that much better of a life in California than she'd had in London. When Sherlock arrives and informs her he's not going back to London until she comes back with him it's a battle of wills between them to see who bends first. But things don't work out how either of them expected them to, and they both need to figure out if there's some happy medium between what each of them wants when it comes to the other.
Chapter Summary: The Holmes family dinner is strained at first, with tense comments and awkward pauses between family members, but eventually things become much more relaxed and Molly thinks it will be a very good evening...at least until they get back to their hotel and the unexpected and unwanted guest waiting for them there.

Summary: Molly Hooper prefers a life limited to her teaching at King's College, the occasional consult for Scotland Yard and evenings with her cat and a good book, but her best mates think she should expand her horizons. On one of their regular "Let's get Molly a social life" nights, Molly meets a man who saves her from a sticky situation, but before she can get to know this Sherlock fellow any better she has to leave the pub. She thinks it's a fleeting "what might have been" moment, but Sherlock has other ideas about that.
Authors Notes: With all the writing I've had to do this week I managed to get some more done on this story, so yay for that! Hopefully it will be well enjoyed by all.
