Lestrade in S3

I don't think what I want to ask is spoilery for S3 but I'll cut it anyway....



I keep seeing reference elsewhere that Lestrade has been promoted to Detective Chief Inspector but can’t find any in the series itself unless I keep missing it. Where have they established that he’s now a DCI?

(And I don’t count Donovan referring to Lestrade as ‘boss’ as being proof since technically just the fact he’s a DI would do that since she’s still a DS if I have even a basic understanding of British police ranks)

He is named as "DCI Lestrade" in the (very poorly produced) newspaper articles at the beginning of The Sign of Three. However, he is listed as "DI Lestrade" in the end credits, so it's much safer to believe them.
