Week 6 of the ‘365 days of 221Bs’ challenge: a prompt a day, given by atlinmerrick, for a whole year. This week there's Sherlock thinking, character study, hurt/comfort, Sally Donovan, fights, fluff, an epiphany, a first time, humour and romance.

Just to be a real nitpicker ... British Rail ceased to exist with the privitisation of the British Railways in 1997. If you want to be correct the rail network now 'British Railways' but different companies run different lines. Not sure where Sherlock was travelling from / to, but if you tell me I can probably give you the name of the one he will be travelling with.

Oh, that's interesting. Thank you for the information and the nitpicking, I don't mind that at all. :)

To be honest, I thought 'British Rail Class 222' is the name of a type of train (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_222). But I might have that wrong. So please feel free to correct me!

Ah yes. That is a British Rail (as in running on rails in Britain) rather than BR was it was. I have travelled in those type of trains and they are very nice. Sherlock would be coming back from somewhere in the midlands on one of those. Probably into Euston (next door to Gower St North where they film 221B) or possibly Kings Cross or St Pancras. Not Paddington (the station used in the Blind Banker) as that goes west and out to Cardiff, hence the in-show jokes.

Wish we would get something newer running our local service out to East Anglia. The situation here is dire.
