I've been meaning to mention this site here for ages, ever since the ever-so-awesome Lynn Flewelling (aka otterdance) posted about it on her blog. I wanted to try them personally, but still haven't gotten 'round to it. But I was thinking about it again tonight, so thought I'd post on it before I forgot again. Adagio Teas allows customers to make custom blends, and folks have made blends inspired by Sherlock and Co.:

Well, I'd love to know what you think of it! It's fun reading all the reviews, just because you can see the wide variety of people's taste in tea. For instance, a lot of those blends seem to have some Earl Grey in them. I'm not a big fan of Earl Grey, but clearly, lots of people are. And it does kind of make me wonder if the blend might improve the Earl Grey by cutting it a bit and making it subtler, like the way jasmine subtles up green tea into something really nice (I tend also not to be a fan of straight green tea, on the grounds that it tastes like lawn clippings).

I used to hate Earl Grey on the grounds that it tasted like pepper to me, then I discovered I was introduced to it via really cheap Earl Grey. *g*

Some of these blends make me raise a brow, simply b/c they mix rooibos with black, or have green and recommend adding milk, which Simply Isn't Done. That where the reviews really come in handy.

Whoops. Hadn't had my tea yet! ;-) Did enjoy the thoroughness of the remarks and ratings; will have to pop over and invite her tea collection to visit mine.
