I need some help
I am sorry to have to do this on this comm but I haven't a clue where else to look to find the answer I seek. I unwisely started a Sherlock fic that I need some information about a scene I want to write but I don't know where to look or who to ask this question and mods I apologize if this question shouldn't be asked here because it's about a certain scene in the first Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes movie
specificially the scene where Holmes meets Mary Morstan for the first time and after she insists tells her all of his deductions about her and ends up offending her. I need to know if in fact this scene has a basis in ACD canon and if so which story is it in?
