Summary: Two months after his “death,” John inadvertently finds out that Sherlock is alive. Determined to find Sherlock and unable to let this second chance at what he really wants slip away, John realizes he’s learned more about being an investigator than he expected. But in the end, what he brings to the partnership is being uniquely himself.
