Summary: Lestrade has had virtually no sleep for days and is at the end of his patience when he’s called to a crime scene at Baker Street, where someone has supposedly died in front of Sherlock and Molly. After having had enough of Sherlock’s flippancy he makes an off-the-cuff statement and is quite surprised at Sherlock’s reaction.

Molly has the idea of a scavenger hunt to put Sherlock’s big, beautiful brain to use, but nothing goes right when what is supposed to be a private thing amongst a few friends becomes a campus-wide event. Will it all end happily ever after or will everything be worse off than they were before

Summary: After everything that had happened to her in London Molly'd had enough. When she got the opportunity to leave London for a new job and a new life in California she took it and didn't really look back. Most of the time. Except she wasn't really living all that much better of a life in California than she'd had in London. When Sherlock arrives and informs her he's not going back to London until she comes back with him it's a battle of wills between them to see who bends first. But things don't work out how either of them expected them to, and they both need to figure out if there's some happy medium between what each of them wants when it comes to the other.
Chapter Summary: It’s a bit of a scramble, but after managing to get the marriage license sorted and finding a friend who could do a civil ceremony on short notice, Sherlock and Molly get married in front of family and friends near the beach not too long after their one year anniversary.

Chapter Summaries: Mary informs Molly that she and John and their son are all coming to visit her and Sherlock in San Diego. Molly starts to think something might be planned, something that only grows stronger at Jason and Thomas’s housewarming party (which starts off with a major hitch) when Thomas makes a statement about their impending houseguest, which is only confirmed when Lestrade tells her that he is, in fact, going to stay with the two men for a bit to experience a true California summer.
Authors Note: I figured out I needed to add one extra chapter for a scene I didn’t anticipate, hence the new ending chapter number.
