Summary: The Holmes family had being hunting the rogue vampire, Moriarty, for centuries. Little by little he had been taking the world into his web but now the
Vampire Council has sent "The Sword and The Healer" to resolve the situation. Meanwhile, London was rearranging itself to receive a new wild card, Sherlock Holmes.

A/N: Lol, ignore this. It's really a self- indulgent excuse for sick!Sherlock.

Summary:Sherlock Holmes does not get carsick. Ever.

It isn't unusual for a few high speed chases in John and Sherlock's profession. Not that this is good for Sherlock.

The young detective twists queasily in the passenger seat of the 'borrowed' car as John swerves around a corner. "Would you kindly stop driving like a maniac and treat this with some thought?" Sherlock says through gritted teeth.

John looks at his partner for a moment, trying to see what was wrong. Sherlock's jaw is set, his jacket long abandoned, and a hand to his middle.

"I'm sorry, mate, but this is urgent!" The older man apologizes as he presses down on the gas. He doesn't acknowledge Sherlock's illness.

"Turn, turn, they're only trying to phase you!" Sherlock says, gulping loudly. He is now white and tangling his fingers in his hair.

This continues for a long while. By Mile 1.5, the detective is moaning quietly and looks dizzy.

"Pull over, John." Sherlock pleads.

"Don't be carsick, not now. Breathe through it, we'll find you a loo where you can be disgusting." John jokes ruefully, slowing the car but not by much.

Mile 2, he is pale and clammy. Mile 2.5, a shine of sweat on his cheeks and his complexion has gone from white to green. Mile 3, he is gagging and breathing from his mouth. The green shade looks almost evil.

John swears, pulls over, and half-drags Sherlock into the alley nearest them. Leaving his charge to deposit breakfast into a trash can, he meets with a policeman who is corralling the criminal into a patrol car.

"Oi, we saw that bloke heavin' his guts out. With love from London's finest." He chuckles sympathetically, handing John a half-drunk, but still cold water. The latter thanks him, then returns to Sherlock.

"Here, rinse out your mouth. I don't think we'll be taking any long car trips soon, hm?" John said. "Not until we find something for your carsickness."

Sherlock scoffs. "I don't get carsick, John."
