Can you believe we have 50 members in roughly 24 hours? Considering we've really only been advertised in a couple of places, I think that's pretty good.

I'd like to welcome laurtew as my co-mod. :D

We're going to be leaving the posts unmoderated as the majority of you have been in this fandom or other fandoms before and you should know large images, spoilers, or not work safe things should be under cuts or that fics should have a header of some sort with warnings if needed.

I've added quite a few tags for people to use and I'll probably be adding some more in the near future.

We have a nice header, a Sherlock moodtheme, and this community has a paid account for the next year.

Hello and grand good luck to you and this fine comm. I'm going to post the URL on my Tumblr and Twitter, so hopefully that helps a wee bit with the advertising. And as you've *asked* for comments....well....

If you so kindly could avoid the mistakes of They Who Shall Not BE—oh screw it, if you could avoid the mistakes of SherlockBBC and keep rules and regulations 1) logical and 2) easy to locate on the comm I for one would be grateful. And when you feel the need to slap my hand for doing the wrong thing all I beg is kindness. Please. If you imitate the other comm in every respect but you are simply *kind* I think you'll have secured your place in the celestial chorus.

Verity Burns and Ariane DeVere will indeed be (or already are) posting to your new comm! And Mirith will be soon as well. So will Anarion, Livia Carica, and Lucybun.

Believe me, just about everyone I know is anxious for a new, better community, so if folks haven't joined yet, they will soon as the rest of us sing your praises!
