I'm offeringChristmas holiday comment!fics over on my journal to anyone who wants it. RL's been a bit hectic this year, hence the lateness of this usual offering - but I'm keeping prompts open till midnight New Year's Eve (UTC +8), so come on over and let me know what you'd like! Details are all in my journal post, so do read through before prompting.
Also, feel free to spread word to any of your friends you think might be interested. I don't have to know you for you to request a ficlet (and there are a whole bunch of other fandoms I'm open to writing, if your friends aren't interested in this one).

What isconsci_fan_mo you ask? The ultimate antidote to NaNo, it's "three weeks of short stories of the sci-fi and fantasy kind, whether they be fanfiction or original works. The sort of stories you can curl up on the sofa with, while the weather does its worst outside, and can finish reading before your tea goes cold and your biscuit goes soggy in the saucer."
And it's FUN!
Right now it's asking for prompts- fandom prompts, lyric or quote prompts, and image prompts. Go throw an idea into the mix! And while you're there, why not join the comm?

All 'verses and all types of digital fanwork (meaning anything that can be shared through the internet) are eligible and we accept any and all characters and pairings; there's no limit to the fun! The exchange is modelled on various Secret Santa exchanges, i.e. each participant will be assigned an intended recipient for whom ze will create a gift story/doodle/podfic/manip/fanmix/set of icons/vid/other digital fanwork. The artists and authors will remain anonymous until the Master List goes up on January 1st.

221b_drabbles. It is exclusively for the posting of 221b ficlets. Any and all Sherlock Holmes incarnations are welcome, as well as all genres, including slash.
I could really use some help with LJ layout, banners, icons, etc., so if anyone would like to offer their services, please leave me a comment or PM. If anyone is interested in co-moderating, let me know that as well.
