Transcripts, transcripts, and more transcripts
For years people have been asking, “Why hasn’t Ariane made the transcripts available to download?” To which my answer has been along the lines of, “You know why she’s here? She’s not paid or anything.” And, to be honest, the last thing I wanted was people taking the downloads and scurrying off without even bothering to post a comment at the bottom of my Livejournal pages.

But, three and a half years after starting to write Sherlock transcripts, I have finally relented and have made the transcripts available to download.

Not only that, but I’ve done variations on just the full transcripts. There are:

1. One single file containing all the episodes (including the pilot and Many Happy Returns). 428 pages, with a page index and everything!
2. One single file containing all the episodes (including the pilot and MHR) with just the speaker and the spoken words. No descriptions or voice tones, no snarky asides from your transcriber. A mere 192 pages!
3. One single file containing all the episodes (including the pilot and MHR) with just the spoken words and nothing else, not even the names of the speakers. 186 pages.
4. One single file containing a list of all the lines spoken by each of 25 of the characters throughout all the episodes (including the pilot and MHR). 158 pages, with a handy page index so you can easily see who’s included and then jump to the appropriate character’s lines.

All four files are available to download in Word (.docx) or as a PDF. To save clogging up this comm, if you’re interested in more details, head to my own LJ blog here for the links.

Word Count: ~ 5000
Disclaimer: This is a work of fanfiction. No copyright infringement is intended.

Title: The Case of the Clamouring Dead: Part 1 of 2
Written by: [livejournal.com profile] beesandbrews
Characters: From the BBC's 'Sherlock': Sherlock Holmes, John Watson. From ITV's 'Afterlife': Alison Mundy. OCs.
Rating: R: contains depictions of graphic violence.
Disclaimer: This is a work of fanfiction. No copyright infringement is intended.
A/N: There are generic references to 'Sherlock' series 1 and 2 and the events and characters depicted in 'Afterlife'. Readers are duly cautioned that they may incur spoilers for both programs. The London borough of Canley is a fictional place, borrowed from 'The Bill'. DS Jack Martella is a character of my own devising, although his aunt Viv was a serving officer at the Sun Hill Police station.
Summary: John knew that Sherlock could be moody, but when a black cloud descended over his flatmate and friend, he became worried enough to drag Sherlock out to Alison Mundy's demonstration of her mediumistic talents in the hopes that proving her a fraud would lift his spirits. John had no way of knowing that a night out at the theatre would lead to a disturbing new case, or a revelation about why Sherlock is so captivated by Jim Moriarty.

Title: The Adventure of Kitty Riley
Rating: PG-13
Alternate link: AO3
Category: Sherlock/John
Length: ~12,000 words in total
Disclaimer: The show Sherlock and that incarnation of its characters belong to the BBC, the show’s writers and its actors.
Warning: Rated for non-explicit naughty bits. Post-Reichenbach.
Summary: Kitty Riley has started using her position as a tabloid journalist to blackmail people. After his return, Sherlock decides to do something about it.

This part: Sherlock goes on a date, then he and John do some breaking and entering and walking around in the dark holding hands.

It occurred to John that if Riley decided to open the curtains, she would find two Men in Black who were not only holding hands but visibly aroused too.

Title: The Adventure of Kitty Riley
Rating: PG-13
Category: Sherlock/John, Sherlock/OFC
Alternative link: AO3
Length: ~11,000 words in total
Disclaimer: The show Sherlock and that incarnation of its characters belong to the BBC, the show’s writers and its actors.
Warning: Rated for non-explicit naughty bits. Post-Reichenbach.
Summary: Kitty Riley has started using her position as a tabloid journalist to blackmail people. After his return, Sherlock decides to do something about it.

Note: This is a reasonably faithful rendition of The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton, but based on an idea by Zinelady. It was originally written for her to use in a fanzine earlier this year but that unfortunately didn’t happen, so I thought I would post it before Season 3. Any resemblance between this Kitty Riley and any red-haired journalists with disreputable working practices is purely fortuitous. Probably.

"Kitty Riley is a snake, John. No, frankly, that’s an insult to snakes."

Title: The Case of the Unsuspecting Partner.
Written by: Beesandbrews
Rating: PG for pre-watershed levels of violence.
Characters: Sherlock, John, DI Lestrade, sundry OCs.
Word Count: ~ 5700
Summary: John's motivation for working as a locum physician, even though it's clear that's not where his passion is, perplexes Sherlock. It takes dealing with a gang of extortionists to solve the riddle and point the way to a solution.
A/N: This story explores why John seems to give up practising medicine somewhere during the period covered by 'A Scandal in Belgravia'.

Hi! I've never asked for a beta before, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.

I've been struck by a stupidly angsty idea for a post-reichenbach fic. It's not going to be very long, but I need it to pack a punch, and I feel like I'm out of touch with writing so I need someone to help with feedback? Naturally SPAG help would be appreciated, but I'm looking more for someone who can help me with flow and the feel of the story.

I'll let you know more if you're interested. There shouldn't be anything more than PG13, but it's pre-established John/Sherlock with implications of Aziraphale/Crowley. Hints of magical realism and more than mere hints of angst.

Please help?

Written by: Beesandbrews
Rating: R for sexual situations and angst.
Characters: Molly Hooper/John Watson
A/N: Written for the hc_bingo prompt 'laceration/knife wound'. Set post-series 2.
Disclaimer: This is a work of fanfiction. No copyright violation is intended.
Summary: The right thing would be to turn her head away. Not to let John caress her cheek or unpin her hair to let it fall free. The right thing would be to say 'Thank you.' and 'Goodnight, John' and 'It was lovely.' and then go home to her solitary bed, but she was tired of doing the right thing.
