Genre: slash
Word Count: ~3.7K
Disclaimer: Sherlock is not mine and no money is being made.
Summary: Sherlock and Moriarty never meet on the rooftop at Bart's in June.

Excerpt: There are roses guarding the verandah. I can smell them through the open windows. They have sharp claws and drink the sun.

Title: Deal or no Deal
Author: Dimity Blue
Rating: PG
Genre: gen, humour, angst, AU
Characters: John Watson, Mycroft Holmes, OCs
Word Count: 5,761 words

Summary: It was, John knew, a good bargain, serving one hundred years of his deathtime in Hell in exchange for Sherlock's life. Really, when it came down to it, it was a no-brainer.

The only problem was that Sherlock wasn't actually dead.

~~~
Warnings: Demons, suicide, main character death (canon)
Author's Notes: For the prompt: "John makes a bargain with a demon or the devil. In exchange for his own soul Sherlock will be resurrected from the grave."
To be found on my LJ in two parts, Part 1, or on Ao3.
Title: Survival Tactics
Summary: The world is grey without Sherlock Holmes in it, and John Watson has lost all sense of direction. It's just surprising to think that he's not the only one who's lost his compass, his north star, and his commanding officer. For all that he's completely insane, John sympathizes with Sebastian Moran a little more than is strictly comfortable, and is more than a little desperate to feel anything.
It's a wonder Mycroft hasn't had him sectioned (yet).
Pairings: John Watson/Sebastian Moran; John Watson/Sherlock Holmes; Sebastian Moran/James Moriarty
Rating: Mature/R
Characters: John Watson, Sebastian Moran, mentions of James Moriarty & Sherlock Holmes
Warnings: This fic contains disturbing themes. Keep in mind that all the characters have done things they are not proud of, and that some people have done worse things than others. While nothing strictly graphic happens in this fic itself, there are frank discussions of aforementioned histories and misdeeds. References to violence, death, military bloodlust and possibly a gore!kink. Also there are references to canonical suicides, which we all know wasn't real.
AN: This is the first story I've ever written, of this sort. I'm not one who can easily envision people having sex with people they don't like. Consequently this was a difficult fic for me to write, and I felt dirty and unsettled for days after finishing it. It was a personal accomplishment, I think, and I've finally decided to publish the damn thing, because it's eating my brain and I need to have some sort of feedback. It was originally titled 'Man Eater' but that was a little too raw for me, so I changed it.
Series: It’s like a train-wreck (beautiful and deadly)
Title: You don’t see me standing here (I just came to say goodbye)
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Spoilers: Up to and Including Sherlock Season 3 Episode 2: The Sign of Three
Characters: Sherlock Holmes, Raz (Sherlock), Greg Lestrade, Mummy & Daddy Holmes
Warnings: Past drug use and discussions of addiction. Also hints of bad things that happened while Sherlock was on hiatus.
Summary: It’s a danger night. Sherlock knows this when he walks out of the wedding hall. There’s a voice in his head and it’s screaming, shrill and relentless, and he feels like he could claw his eyes out just to make it stop. He isn’t used to selflessness, but he has given everything he is, to John. Now, there’s nothing left. He has to get out. He has to leave. Staying will be the death of him, and he thinks there’s been quite enough of that going around.
AN: So. This fic has been eating my brain for a while now. There are three fics planned for this series, and hopefully they’ll all be posted before Sunday. There are a bunch of songs that I’ve been listening to on repeat, and if you’re interested you can listen to them too, to know exactly what kind of mood I’m in. Look at the notes below. I’ve used quite a few head canons from different places.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. This was quickly beta’d by Lucy, but all remaining mistakes are mine. Thanks babe. The title is from a very appropriate song called Dancing on my own by Robyn
Title: You’re In My Head (You’re In My Heart)
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Characters: Sherlock Holmes, Mentions of Ensemble
Spoilers: For Sherlock Season 3 Episode 1: The Empty Hearse
Warnings: Rated for torture and untreated mental illness. Mentions of past drug use and addiction. Also suicidal ideation. This is not a happy fic.
Rating: Adult
Summary: There’s a voice in Sherlock’s head, when he’s away from London. It sounds a lot like John. Sherlock wants to be disturbed by this, but really, at this point he’ll take what comfort he can get. He doesn’t really have a choice.
AN: This fandom is ruining my life. I hate this show. Have another fic to see how much I hate it. Sorry for the angst. I can’t quite find the sunshine in my withered soul.
Disclaimer: I own nothing except some of the happenings in this fic, and even then whether someone can own events or not is debatable. Title taken from ‘No Light’ by Florence+The Machine, which is a really shockingly appropriate song.
Title: The Principle of Uncertainty
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Spoilers: Mostly for Season 2 (TRF) but it’s set Post Season 3 TSOT. There are minor hints at the happenings in TEH and TSOT, but nothing specific is given away.
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: One-sided Sherlock/John, implies John/Mary
Characters: Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, Mummy & Daddy Holmes, Mycroft Holmes, Mrs. Hudson, Lestrade
Summary: Sherlock never used to speak, before he met John. There was never any point to it, because no one understood him. But when he meets John his lips part and his heart spills out, and there’s nothing he can do to stop it. And even though John speaks the same language as him, there are some things which Sherlock cannot bring himself to say out loud.
A/N: I’ve been struggling with another fic for almost four days now, and then one morning I woke up and wrote this instead. The show is going to be the death of me. And yes, that is a reference to Heisenberg's Principle of Uncertainty.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Title: Every Ending Is A New Beginning
Author: [livejournal.com profile] obsessionality
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Ratings: NC17
Pairing: Mary Morstan/John Watson; Hints of One-Sided John Watson/Sherlock Holmes
Wordcount: 1273 Words
Spoilers: For EVERYTHING. Mark my words, for all six episodes and EVERY SPOILER that's come out since - including the BBC trailers, John's Blog posts and the set pictures they've been releasing. This is an over-arching spoiler warning.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Not the characters or anything. The first three lines of this fic come from John's Blog post here and the part of the scene portrayed comes from the 8th of December 2013 Trailer.
Summary: John's been recovering from the fall for two years, and Mary's been by his side for every step of the way. He loved Sherlock, but he loves Mary too, and still it's difficult to let go of the past. But there has to be a breaking point, and while some people need explosions and fireworks, John's breaking point comes in a silent office, when he realizes that it's as simple as making the choice to live.
You can love Ghosts, but they'll never love you back.
AN: This was written in response to the trailer fiasco of the 8th of December 2013 on Tumblr (let's just say post limits were hit very fast and I didn't come off capslock for about four hours). Again, I'm warning for SPOILERS for Sherlock BBC Season 3 - in whatever shape or form we have received them (trailers, pictures, John's blog posts - this is an all-encompassing spoiler warning). Also, I don't want any Mary Bashing. John's been through enough. In my book, Mary's gold until she's proven otherwise. I'm walking in with this assumption, and I'm sorry if it bothers you. I ship Johnlock too, but I won't have a single word against her. She doesn't deserve it either.
Hi! I've never asked for a beta before, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.
I've been struck by a stupidly angsty idea for a post-reichenbach fic. It's not going to be very long, but I need it to pack a punch, and I feel like I'm out of touch with writing so I need someone to help with feedback? Naturally SPAG help would be appreciated, but I'm looking more for someone who can help me with flow and the feel of the story.
I'll let you know more if you're interested. There shouldn't be anything more than PG13, but it's pre-established John/Sherlock with implications of Aziraphale/Crowley. Hints of magical realism and more than mere hints of angst.
Please help?
Ok, so I think I know why I started working this out ... but then it morphed into something slightly different.
Let me explain. I am being a little Autistic today - for a perfectly normal hormonal reason. I'm getting a bit frustrated when (purely because of the way a scene is shot) editing keeps jumping back and forth between different viewpoints and quite obviously moves around where an actor is standing / looking .
All that choppiness means different takes, and breaks in sequences, and breaks in the actor's emotional continuity through parts of a scene. I saw too much live theatre in my earlier life, and perhaps that has got me hooked on that sort of thing.
