Hello! I'm looking for a beta to proofread a sequel to my dark!John series.

NC-17, c. 6,650 words, John/Sherlock, BDSM and lots of angst. It's mostly PWP, so you don't have to read the previous stories.

Summary: Dark!John takes Sherlock to the Diogenes Club. At night, private parties are often held there. Parties for indecently wealthy men who enjoy particular kinds of entertainment. “They’re going to like you,” John says, and that sounds pretty ominous.

After Khan was waken up, he found himself being threatened with the safety of his crew, so he had no choice but to comply to every demand of Admiral Marcus, trying to conceal that one of his people - John, the one whose name he'd adopted - was even more important to him than the others. He had been subjected to endless scientific studies and experiments, used and abused mentally and physically in an attempt to break him. He pretended to be broken while planning for revenge.

TW for abuse and violence.
Worcdcount - c. 1600.

English is not my native language, and as wicked as I may be, I don't want to torture all the readers with my spelling/grammar mistakes.

I recently finished posting a multipart Elementary/Sherlock crossover story ("The Tale Of The Two Sherlocks") and decided to expand it into a series called "The Family Business." Currently I have a 10K big bang fic that will be somewhere around the fifth or sixth story in the series finished, and then I will be writing a 15K big bang story set immediately after that one as well. My current beta is a Sherlock fan but not an Elementary fan, so I need a beta who is familiar with both shows to look it over. Mostly I'm looking for a character/content beta, but I wouldn't mind if they're a SPAG beta as well. I know I had issues with my BBC!Sherlock sounding like Elementary!Sherlock, and I want to make sure I don't go that route again.

The only thing I suggest is you read the first story in the series to get an understanding of the AU I've created (that story is 14K long). Pairings in the series include Elementary!Sherlock/BBC!Irene, BBC!Sherlock/Molly, John/Donovan and past Elementary!Sherlock/Donovan. Most characters who are major characters on both shows have been included in at least the first or fifth/sixth story. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am seeking one or more people to help me in the writing of a crossover fic I wish to do in which I am finding it hard to mesh my ideas for the two universes into one that will work. The BBC's Sherlock is one of the universes I wish to do and Leverage is the other. I have one fanfic (set during/immediately after Reichenbach) already where I crossed the two over and this story would be a sequel of sorts but as I said I
am having a time with this.

Would anyone be able and willing to help me sort of my ideas and help me try to find a way to mesh the ideas I am having into a story that'll work?

I am in the market for a strong Beta.

I've written 10K for piece I've titled Holiday Cheer. It's a Johnlock melodrama, angst-a-plenty, about Harry visiting the boys over the holidays. I've written the important bits, including the ending, but I'm having trouble bringing it home--it lacks a solid middle section describing holiday festivities, Harry being a terrible house guest, and moderately explicit J/Sh sex. No need for Britpicking--I don't bother. I'm looking for an opinionated person who can help me move the story along (not my strong suite) and is willing to roll with my run-on sentence style.

Hi! I've never asked for a beta before, so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.

I've been struck by a stupidly angsty idea for a post-reichenbach fic. It's not going to be very long, but I need it to pack a punch, and I feel like I'm out of touch with writing so I need someone to help with feedback? Naturally SPAG help would be appreciated, but I'm looking more for someone who can help me with flow and the feel of the story.

I'll let you know more if you're interested. There shouldn't be anything more than PG13, but it's pre-established John/Sherlock with implications of Aziraphale/Crowley. Hints of magical realism and more than mere hints of angst.

For this year's mpregbigbang, I've written a Sherlock/John story. It's finished, but it's written by a girl who's lived her entire life in the deep south of the US, and I don't want to take the chance that I've stuck anything ridiculously American in there that's going to ruin the whole story for British readers.

Is there anyone in this comm who'd be willing to take a look at it for me and point out any glaring errors in terms or phrasing? The story is about 14k. Thanks in advance.

crossbigbang, and my posting date is Wednesday. The story is an AU futurefic with characters from Sherlock, Luther and Torchwood. I'd like at least someone to make sure the events in the story make sense and to pick out any remaining Americanisms, that's all. Familiarity with Luther and/or Torchwood isn't needed for this project. There is graphic violence in this fic, but if you have problems with that, I can send you an edited copy without the violence.

Hi! I'm looking for a beta for a supernatural/fantasy AU fic I've been working on. It's Sherlock/John, about 5000 words, and started out as a response to this prompt for fae!John before going off on something of a tangent. (It's influenced more by Jenny Nimmo's The Snow Spider than by any actual fairylore, but isn't explicitly set in that universe, and I don't think you need to know the book for it to make sense.)

I'm looking for someone to Brit-pick my

casestory Big Bang. I already have a SPAG beta, so you really would just be reading for any annoying Americanisms that slipped through the cracks.

It's a Sherlock/Wallander crossover, slash with Lestrade/Wallander as the pairing. It will probably clock in right near the minimum word count of 10,000. The first half is done and ready for review, and the second half will probably be done over the next 2 weeks or so. Warnings for explicit sex and BDSM scenes, but those are confined to 1 or 2 parts, and are easily avoided if that squicks you.

I'm looking for a beta for my story bending time with Death which was my entry for last round's

holmestice. (Um, I had a friend who briefly went through it, but she's non-Native and basically I just wasn't too satisfied with how it came out. But then I had exams and holed up for three months, so I had no time to find anyone to beta it. I'm so sorry ;_; )

So I'm looking for a beta and britpick (because I'm non-Native too and I have a lot of errors), who could also go over the plot and characterizations. (Basically I need help with everything, I think...)
