Even then Sherlock still ruthlessly quashed the majority of his omega instincts – except for in those nine days every three months when he positively revelled in every single one of them – and he certainly never allowed the impulse to breed even the tiniest bit of house room in his mind; too focused on the work and finding his way through the intricacies of a relationship. But sometimes biology just won’t be denied and now Sherlock no longer has a choice about accepting his true nature.
